Art, I believe
is something that capable of shaking one's emotions, of making
one's feelings tremble in the face of beauty. These feelings are,
of course, abstract in character, their quality relative to each
person. In my life I try to see every aspect of existence as an
element. |

comment from BIDADARI :
He graduated from The Department Communication Design, Faculty of
Fine Art And Design, At The Indonesian Institute Of Art in Yogyakarta
in 1990.
Upon graduating, he worked as a designer, making calendars,
banners, billboards, and leaflets,
all the while continuing
to paint.
How ever,
the artistic impulses which flowed so fiercely through his blood made
it difficult for him to endure for long in the design world. He felt
unable to freely pour out his expression and his obsession with art.
Finally in 1998 Agung Mangu Putra decided to devote his life to painting. |
